Layover in Plumland illuminated suitcase

A single fused and painted glass panel depicting a plum branch and a few cheerful insects is set into a vintage suitcase and lit from within with energy efficient bulbs.  The cut out area of the suitcase that frames the glass is edged with fanciful copper shapes with a few small color pencil drawing embellishments.  It comes with 6 foot cord including a line switch, ready to plug in and enjoy as an intriguing and soothing sculpture.  Dimensions: 24" wide x 17" tall x 6" deep.

The piece is not usable as a functional suitcase.  It is purely for visual enjoyment.  Set it in a darker part of a room for dramatic effect, on a shelf, a low bench or a table top.
