Fused Glass Jewelry

My fused glass jewelry is composed of a several layers of very thin, colored glass and iridescent clear glass that are melted together or "fused" in a kiln. Often I will sandwich copper wire between the glass layers to form antennae or little loops from which to dangle beads. I developed  a technique for trapping air bubbles under the clear glass which lends itself perfectly to the creation of luminous eyes inside small glass faces. I also often use glass fusing paints and gold luster which are permanently bonded to the glass in separate firings.I would enjoy hearing from you if you'd like to discuss the idea of a custom piece.
