In a languid tropical watery world, a sea turtle explores the nearby grasses.  

A lustrous copper frame (95-99% recycled metal content) holds a translucent durable print of an original pastel and colored pencil drawing.  The piece measures 4 1/4" wide x 5 1/4" tall x 1 3/4" deep.  Included is a 4 watt incandescent bulb and high quality nightlight fixture.  It all comes packaged in a lovely gift box of recycled fibers, and ships for free within the USA!

Sea Turtle Luminette

I have chosen many of Bella Luz Studio's Luminettes during this last chapter, having first purchased two twenty years ago for my children. The first born was older, yet his favorite animal is the Polar Bear and he is receiving this luminette at 28 years old. I chose to concentrate on those creatures who may be endangered in order to pass this along to the next two generations (my children, my brother's children, and all of the parents). I have been to Florida when they rope off the precious egg-laying beaches and have watched the babies run to the ocean. Thrilling. The Great Blue Heron, the Baby Orca are two others I am concerned about... the freedom, health, and continuance of the species is reflected in Joelene's art. Love them all.
