Wedding Box
A painted wooden wine case embellished with metal leaf and brass findings holds a hand-painted and fired glass panel. The glass image is the "Tree of Life" which holds 2 birds and is covered in heart flowers. A Star of David is on the lower trunk. A fused glass strip at the bottom of the piece shows 4 photographic images of the bride and groom's hands that are transferred to the glass. The feet are antique door knobs. The piece is comes with an 8 foot brown cord with on/off switch, and is electrically lit internally with a 4 watt compact fluorescent bulb. Dimensions: 7 x 16 x 7 inches.
